In 2024, the canton of Vaud is offering a number of subsidies for the energy renovation of buildings. Here are the main subsidies available:
The Buildings Program: This program offers subsidies to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. For example, you can get money to insulate your home, replace your heating with a heat pump, or install solar panels.
Cantonal subsidies: The canton of Vaud offers specific subsidies for projects such as wood heating, connection to a heating network, and improving the energy efficiency class of buildings.
Low-interest loans: Some banks offer reduced-rate loans to finance energy renovation work. This means you can borrow money at a lower interest rate to carry out the work.
Energy certificates: By renovating your building, you can obtain an energy certificate showing that your home is more energy-efficient. This can also increase the value of your home.
For 2024, the canton of Vaud has allocated a record budget of 75 million francs to support these projects, 15 million more than the previous year!
But how do you get support for energy renovation in the canton of Vaud?
