For owners of second homes, how can you save tax?

If you stay in your second home for more than 90 days, you can apply for your taxes to be shared between the communes (article 14 of the law on communal taxes).

In particular, this allows you to be exempt from municipal tax on second homes. In some cases, you may be able to reduce your tax if the municipal rate is lower.
